Physical Description

83cm straight single fullered blade with flat back, single edged with spear point. The blade is plain except for what may be crowned inspection marks near the hilt on one side of the blade.
Brass hilt with two plain kidney shaped shells both fixed . The underneath of one shell stamped D above 2, the other 6 R V B. Rear facing quillon. Brass wired grip, brass knucklebow and plain Adam style pommel with prominent tang button.
Black leather scabbard with brass fittings, the locket stamped O'Brien Cork.
