Provenance

From Malta, 1826, re-accessioned from Middle Flint Tower (1987). Probably from one of the armours formerly on loan 7 to Dover Castle, II.53-65, including III.2628-35.

Physical Description

Composed of a two piece cuff, five metacarpal lames and a knuckle lame. The cuff is decorated with four sunken bands running longitudinally.

Inscriptions and Marks

A group of fifteen punched dots a the point of the cuff, inside, in chalk 4.
