Provenance

Re-accessioned from Middle Flint Tower, 1987. Probably from one of the armours formerly on loan 7 to Dover Castle (II.53-62) from Malta, 1826.

Physical Description

Peascod form. With two fauld lame. Roped inward turns. Gussets at either arm. The lower fauld plate has V-shaped indentations along its upper edge, and is fitted with three straps at either side of the tassets. The upper end of hte left gusset is repaired. Bright.
