Physical Description

The cuisse is of one plate, the poleyn comprising a main plate with one lame above and two below. The upper edge of the cuisse has a roped turn with a sunken border, in which are three rivets attaching a strap. The main plate of the poleyn has a heart shaped fan with a roped turn with a sunken border, in which are three rivets attaching a strap. The main plate of the poleyn has a heart shaped fan with a roped turn at its edge, divided by a transverse line. It has a roped medial ridge. The lowest plate has a sunken border, with a keyhole slot to the left; on the right to the inside is a large hole, and to the outside, a small one.
