Physical Description

It is made from a one plate front and rear joined by a rivet at the left and a stud in a keyhole slot at the right. Each plate has a raised neck; the rear plate is flat at the base, the front plate having an acute point and a slight medial keel. The main edges have plain, inward turns, with sunken borders at the outside edges. A layer of black paint was removed in March 1989. The exterior is file hatched and black from the hammer. The rear plate has a pierced suspension hole at the bottom centre.
