Physical Description

Of steel; octagonal-sectioned haft, pounced with a trellis pattern forming lozenges along each side; griped made or made to appear as if spirally bound with a single medium wire and a broader twist. Head formed of eight pointed flanges, each of which has at its mid-point a square sectioned, diamond-shaped point mounted in a recess; the head has knurled, circular plates at either end. In addition there is a lenticular plate at the top of the haft, a knurled washer at the top of the grip, and flutted button terminals at the top of the head and base of the grip.
