Physical Description

The cast copper-alloy (brass) hilt comprising a solid, spirally fluted grip, with attenuated lion's head pommel, 'stirrup' knuckle-bow and short quillon at the rear and a pair of shallow langets.

The broad, stout, single-edged blade, is slightly curved.
