Physical Description

Blade of traingular section, 2 faces being concave. reinforced lug at collar. A spring catch attached to the flat face prevents the bayonet being easily removed from the scabbard. Black leather scabbard with brass fittings.
This bayonet was developed to prevent policemen on duty in Ireland and in riots in Britain from having his own weapons used by an assailant upon himself.
