Notes

IOHANNES DELL/BELL is probably John Bell, a London maker. See also IX.1386 and IX.1391 for other blades by (possibly) the same maker. A John Bell is recorded as a london maker, see Welch, 'A History of the Cutlers Company of London' Vol II pp. 32, 35-6, 350.
