Physical Description

Hilt: brass, with a cap pommel having a semi-ovoid tang button. The knuckle guard swells to form an oval shell guard, slightly curved towards the hilt on the inside. From the shell guard, three scroll branches arise which unite and then join the knuckle guard as a single bar towards the top. From the shell guard projects a broad, flat, rear quillon curved towards the blade. The leather covered wooden grip is slightly damaged.


Blade: straight, single edged with two fullers. The back of the blade, close to the hiult, is engraved:
