Physical Description

The skull has a roped comb on either side of which are two sunken bands which finish in volutes at the back of the skull. The visor is in two parts, the upper of which has two vision slits, the lower of which has no ventilation holes and projects sharply forward.
The chinpiece has hooks on the right hand side to secure the helmet when closed and to fasten the visor. There are double gorget plates.
The visor hook and lifting -peg are restorations.
