Acquired before 1859; from Gwalior.

Physical Description

The shirt opens down the front, has an opening at the rear, and has full length sleeves. The mail is riveted, with panels of mail formed of thick wire at either side of the chest.
Around the collar and at either side of the ront opening are bands of maroon velvet, glued to bands of leather inside them, and crudely sewn to the mail. The velvet is modern, and most probably European.
