Physical Description

Circular, of steel, the surface divided by embossed radiating ridges into eight [8] panels, each etched with an armed figure framed in strapwork qand foliage, the sunken border having scrolling foliage together with oval medallions containing human heads. No enarmes have been fitted.

This shield was exhibited to the Society of Antiquaries in 1847 by R. Porrett, Storekeeper of the Armouries, 1841-70, together wit V-62, now apparently sold.
