Re-accessioned from Middle Flint Tower, 1987. Probably from one of the armours formerly on loan 7 to Dover Castle (II.53-62) from Malta, 1826.

Physical Description

Comprising a flared, pointed cuff, five metacarpal lames, a knuckle plate with an embossed ridge, and four modern finger defences. The main edge of hte cuff has a roped inward turn bordered by twenty four lining rivets and a triple incised line. The subsidiary edges are bordered by triple incised line.
