Physical Description

The pauldron is formed of an upper portion of three lames, and a second detached portion of five lames. The edges of the pauldron have roped turns accompanied by sunken borders, and embossed volutes decorate the apex of the shoulder. The whole is etched with bands of classical trophies in the so-called Pisan style.

Inscriptions and Marks

The insides of the last four lames are marked successively, V, VI, VII, VIII.
