Physical Description

Composed of a main plate with bulbous embossed central ribs at the bottom and top, integral flanges bordered by double incised lines for the eyes. The main plate is otherwise plain, with facets accompanied by lining rivets running down to the eyes. The side, ear and nose plates are fluted, and attached by rivets, the ears and nose having scalloped flanges. At the centre is a fluted roundel, and a poll plate is attached at the rear. Concentric corrosion seen 09/01/2002. A group of large spots of concentric corrosion by December 2003. Nose may be restored.
