Physical Description

With roped turns at the neck and arm. Furnished with mushroom-shaped studs for shoudler straps, and four staples and D-rings at the waist for attachment of tassets. The two outer D-rings are missing. Decorated with double incised lines which form a central chevron at the top. Of great weight, bearing a proof mark on the right side. Lacquered.

Inscriptions and Marks

Stamped with a sword hilt over a scallop shell containing the letter E.
