Physical Description

With large hinged cheek-pieces meeting at the chin. Skull made in two halves with low comb. Peak made n one with the skull, pierced for a nasal guard. Single rear gorget plate. The cheek-pieces are closed by a hook and staple. The cheek-pieces have been cut back to form a wide face opening at the timne the nasal guard was added.
