Provenance

From the armoury of the Earls of Pembroke. Acquired 1951.

Physical Description

Composed of three lames the two lower of which are each embossed to simulate two separate lames. The bottom lame bears in the centre the letter P (for Pembroke) executed in dome-headed rivets. The top lame is pierced with one oblong and one key-hole slot for attachment to the flange of the backplate.
