Physical Description

Circular twist barrel with octagonal breech and faceted middle section. Breech marked 'CLOUGH AND SONS, BATH'. Single platignum line on breech. Platignum vent. Enlarged lockplate and hammer. Half stock. Wooden ramrod. Steel furniture. Large trigger guard. Front section hinged. Possible safety catch (A.F). Trigger embossed with Royal Coat of Arms SOMMERVILLE'S PATENT. WHELLER AND SON MAKERS _
