Re-accessioned from Middle Flint Tower, 1987. Possibly from one of the armours formerly on loan 7 to Dover Castle (II.53-62) from Malta, 1826.

Physical Description

Formed of a cuff linked by six metacarpal plates through a knuckle plate to four sets of finger defences and a thumb defence. The lower edges of the cuff and metacarpal plates are each decorated with a V-shaped notch. The cuff has a plain turn accompanied by nine lining rivets. Painted black.
