Physical Description

Each pauldron is formed of six upward overlapping lames. The third lame is extended over the back and has a flange at its outer edge, which extends over the lower three lames which only cover the backs of the arms. The front of the right pauldron is cut away to accommodate a lance. The lames of each are articulated by four internal leathers and by sliding rivets at the rear of the lowest three lames.
