Physical Description

For a sporting crossbow, the bar etched with scrolling foliage, and near the claws the letters and date:

A loose brass plate on the wheelcase cover is fretted with human figures representing the Son, Moon and Plantets. Straight lever with wooden handle. The tiller loop is preserved. The suspension hook has been repaired. A brass centring plate, a restoration, is fitted between the claws.
