Provenance

Purchased with III.1663-4, 12 March 1980. Seller purchased them from the French dealer P Missillier, who claimed to have obtained 'it' via a third party from a chateau in the south of France. After further enquiry, PM wrote that the brigandines came from the area of Chambery.
