Physical Description

The leg defences have short cuisses lacking plates at the top, poleyns and three-quarter greaves with two articulating lames at the ankles. The surface is decorated with a fine punched ground, probably blued or blackened originally, and incised with diagonal cartouches containing floral ornament. There are embossed stars, originally silvered, at intervals.
