Notes

According to the Fenton sale catalogue the spurs were formerly in the Meyrick collection.
It has been suggested by Dr. Vladium Deukstuin (?) of the National Museum, Prague that the letter included in the decoration may stand for Ladislaus Rex. Ladislaus Vi, King of Hungary and Bohemian, born 1439 died 1457.
