Physical Description

The pauldron has a threaded hole for a reinforce at the front of the main plate. The surface is decorated with a fine punched ground, probably blued or blackened originally, and incised with diagonal cartouches containing floral ornament. There are embossed stars, originally silvered, at intervals.
