Physical Description

It is made of sheet steel, with six girth hoops, a solid riveted shoulder section and five lames at either shoulder. The girth hoops are joined at the centre front and rear by black laces in brass loops, and the upper ones have two hooks at the front and four at the rear for attachment through brass-reinforced holes to the shoulder section. The girth hoops are articulated by internal leathers at the front, rear and at either side. The shoulder sections are made of front, centre and rear plates, all solidly riveted together. The shouder defences are made of three long and two narrow lames each, articulated by leathers at the front, rear and centre to the shoulder section. The shoulder sections are joined at the front by a loop and pin, passing through a brass reinforced slot, and at the rear by two loops and slots joined by a single long brass pin. Also has a wooden armour stand, painted black.
