Physical Description

Of iron, with broad straight sides with a medial ridge, and a long, straight neck of flattened lozenge section dividing into a rowel box holding a small eight pointed star rowel. At the end of the sides is a figure 8 terminal. Behind these is a rivet hole probably for the stud which survives on VI.628. The surface is pitted and patinated. The sides appear of different lengths, probably due to being bent out of their original shape.
