Physical Description

Of iron, with flat sides curving under the wearer's ankles, widening at the rear to broad band bordered by a double incised line at the top and a single incised line at the bottom. There is a long, oval section neck dividing into a rowel box holding a small eight pointed star rowel. At the end of either side is a figure 8 terminal, retaining a strap hook at either side, that at the left fitted inside out. The surface is bright but patinated.
