Physical Description

Of iron, with D section sides curving under the wearer's ankle, rising to the rear where there is a curled crest and a very short oval section neck dividing almost immediately into a rowel box holding a small six pointed star rowel. At the end of either side is a figure 8 terminal. The surface is patinated dark brown, with areas of pitting, part of the upper left hole is broken out.
