Physical Description

Of iron, with flat sides curving under the wearer's ankle, rising to the rear where there is a slightly curled crest, and a very short round section neck dividing almost immediately into a rowel box holding a small six pointed star rowel. At the end of either side is a figure 8 terminal, with a small iron tab with a hook for the leather at the right. The surface is patinated brown.
