Physical Description

Of iron, with sleder sides of round section curved under the wearer's ankle, widening and rising to a pointed crest at the rear, where there is a short round section neck divided into a rowel box holding a medium size six pointed star rowel. At the end of either side is a flat rectangular terminal pierced with two holes. The surface is patinated dark brown, and there is some lamination and flaking at the side of the rowel box.
