Provenance

First registered 25 June 2004 following return from loan to the Australian War Memorial [museum] (reg. no. 5548.002), being the remains of one of the Loans to the Dominions, sent out in 1921. Tower arsenal.

Physical Description

It is crudely formed from a bent iron sheet, with rough cut-outs for the neck and arms. At either shoulder is a rivet hole for a mushroom headed stud for the shoulder strap, and at either side is a rivet hole for a belt hook. The exterior is painted black.
