Physical Description

Of wood covered with gesso and painted. Rectangular with a rounded medial ridge. Painted with a central panel containing an armoured figure holding a lance with a pennon, bordered with an (unread) band of Gothic minuscule. At the top is the arms of Zwickau, gules three swans argent. The grip is missing but several fragments of the carrying straps survive.
