Physical Description

A carbine of similar appearance to the No 5 [Jungle) carbine, with a wooden stock cut short approximately 8 inches from the muzzle. The forend is deeply ribbed to provide grip. The bolt and action are standard Lee-Enfield, with a bridge charger guide and ribbed, squared-off cocking piece. The barrel projects forward of the stock and has a deep conical flash-hider. Sights are blade and wings front and flip-up ladder rear. The usual ten round detachable magazine is fitted forward of the steel trigger guard. A brass butt plate is fitted
