Physical Description

A short double edges bayonet with raised fuller on each side of the blade. The pommel has a distinctive flat head and there is a button locking catch on the left side. The two piece wooden grips are retained by flat rivets. The crossguard has a ring and short rounded quillon. The scabbard is black leather, stitched down one face, with steel locket and chape, held by staples. A frog securing button is on one side of the locket.
