Physical Description

The skull has a central rudge and a sloping brim of medium width. The main edge is plain, bordered by lining rivets, and these also run around the base of the skull. At the left front inside the skull is a small rectangfular plate held by two rivets through lining rivet holes, and a similar plate is missing at the right. These are thought to be working life modifications intended to prevent a high bevor catching on the brim of the helmet.
