Physical Description

Handle of 'pistol grip' form comprising single spring with large foot/neb flanked by two brass liners with knurled edges and horn scales secured by three nickel rivets. One of the scales is fitted with an off-centre oval nickel escutcheon secured with two rivets.


Blade: in this case takes the form of a miniature bow saw fitted with a saw blade secured at each end of the bow by a steel pin. The blade has teeth at approximately 3/32 inch (2.5 mm) pitch. The shoulder of the blade is stamped with the makers name;
