Physical Description

A cruciform blade that is an integral part of the socket. There is a longitudinal sliding catch at the rear of the socket. The whole bayonet is blued. The scabbard is blued tubular steel, with a large finial at the tip, and round frog mount near the mouthpiece, which is retained by two screws.
