Purchased 20 March 1998. Previously part of Deposit A0271 (Smith no. 18). Found beneath Southwark Bridge.

Physical Description

The blade is straight, single edged and of hollow-ground, triangular section, tapering to a point. The hilt is of wood and slightly barrelled. The rondels are also of wood and domed away from the grip, with the flat face covered with an iron plate.
