Physical Description

Is of flat circular form rising to a low point in the centre. The upper surface is of plain black lacquer, except for the mon in gold, the underside is red lacquered and the rim is lacquered a brownish silver. The jingasa retains its two sausage shaped pads for the head, two hanging padded loops and narrow ties, all of black silk.
The mon takes the form of a buddhist wheel on which is superimposed a mokko shaped melon section having ken blades between the four parts.
