Physical Description

Baston patent. Belgian made for Corpo Guardie Municipali Napoli about 1930. Double action with octagonal barrel, however the acton appears to be broken and will only fire on single.With ejector rod, loading gate on right side and Belgian proofs. Safety catch located on the left side. Number 3 on barrel, possible serial number.

The barrel and the grips have a resemblence to the Model 1889 Bodeo. However this is a Belgian manufactured pistol for use by the Neapolitan Municipal Police. It lacks the Abadie system which was standard in the Model 1889 Bodeo.
