Physical Description

It has a raised neck, a medial ridge and a narrow flange at the waist. At either arm is a mushroom-headed stud for the shoulder straps. The neck and arm edges have plain inward turns. At the left of the ridge is a proof mark. The exterior is painted black. At either shoulder is a small suspension hole.

Stamped IW for the maker, helmeted A and a very clear large circular mark under paint. Inside a construction mark of 11 wedges.
