Object Title

Lance

Lance

Date

1868-1888

Object Number

VII.4103

Provenance

Found during unpacking in Leeds. Had disc with inv. no. VII.3515, but according to the register and STAR, this no is one of a number of boarding pikes returned from loan in 1991. It was at the time located, with most of the others in the same batch, in the Hall of Steel: the number of the pike could therefore not be checked but seems likely to be correct. This lance was therefore given a new number.
