Physical Description

Made in one piece, it is shaped to the crown, slightly flanged

Inscriptions and Marks

at the nape and with an integral peak. At either side of the skull is a characteristic stepped lug for the attachment of a reinforce. Low at either side is a rivet retaining fragments of the cheek-strap. It is pierced with three equidistantly-placed holes for the attachment of a lining. It is corroded and in excavated condition.
