Physical Description

A fingered gauntlet. The one piece cuff flares towards its outer edge which has a filed roped inward turn bordered by eight rivets retaing on the inside a modern leather lining band.The cuff is embossed with acanthus foliage and flowers high-lighted with gold damascening against a gilt ground.Overlapping outwards from a knuckle-plate are five metacarpal plates articulated by a rivet at either side of each.The knuckle-plate its embossed with a raised rib
