Physical Description

A standard configuration percussion pistol, having a steel lock with large hammer. The hammer spur is vertical and heavily chequered. The barrel is steel and is retained by a single brass band and tang screw. A stirrup type steel ramrod swivel is fitted, anf the ramrod is also steel. The stock is dark American walnut, and has brass fittings. There is a rudimentary brass blade foresight
