Physical Description

It is made in two pieces joined in a low comb and with a narrow brim. The main edge has a plain inward turn with a recessed border containing fourteen round-headed lining rivets with square washers. Round the base of the skull are fourteen rivets of which two at the left and one at the right have square washer for the cheekpiece leather, the rest being decorative. There is a suspension hole at the front, and a hole at the left of the skull.
