Physical Description

A brass bodied pistol with a tip-up barrel, released by a spring catch at the right side. The barrel is a piece of steel tube. There is a removable chamber that could be muzzle loaded to fact as a cartridge. The hammer spur is very short and must be manually cocked. The steel trigger has an adjuster screw . Grips are 'birds head' style,comprising two pieces of plain wood, retained by a single screw

The exact purpose of this pistol remains a mystery, as it is not chambered for any known cartridge, nor does the breech assembly seem capable of accepting one. It is possibly a blank-firing device
